About the Tour

Moab, Utah is one of the most spectacular places in America — gateway to the dramatic red rock formations of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, canyon floors carved by the Colorado River, and high-desert terrain that has to be seen from ground level to be believed.

This is a guided, instructional off-road experience led by Bill Burke of 4-Wheeling America — one of the most respected 4WD instructors in the world. Bill has been teaching 4-wheel drive techniques professionally since 1986. He is the founder of the International 4-Wheel Drive Trainers Association, a Camel Trophy competitor, a permitted BLM and U.S. Forest Service guide, and the man who built Toyota’s worldwide in-house 4WD certification program. You can get a feel for Bill in this YouTube interview.

The route covers five days of extraordinary canyon country — River Road along the Colorado, the Kokopelli Trail, Tabeguache Canyon, Grand Mesa at 10,000 feet, Gateway Canyon, and the La Sal Mountains — with all meals, lodging, Jeep, and guiding included.

What makes this different from booking directly through Bill Burke is the full Blue Strada experience wrapped around it. We handle the “everything else” — carefully selected character lodging, all meals, airport transfers, and the attention to detail that Blue Strada brings to every tour. Bill brings the trail expertise; we bring the experience.

No off-road experience required. Bill teaches — that’s the whole point.
